HCV Waitlist Closure Notice

The new rollout of the 2026 Fair Market Rent (FMR) calculations has resulted in the need to close the waitlist for the Housing Choice Voucher program known as Section 8. When the policy changes to open the waitlist, we will update the website. We at the Fort Walton Beach Housing Authority continue our dedication to excellence in providing quality, affordable, and safe housing to eligible persons consistent with community needs. We will continue to foster effective and creative partnerships to maximize opportunities that improve the economic and personal well-being of the people that we serve.
