Fort Walton Beach Housing Authority is dedicated to providing the community with quality, affordable housing for eligible families and individuals, ensuring a foundation for secure and thriving lives.

The Fort Walton Beach Housing Authority is a public entity that was formed in 1968 to provide federally subsidized housing and housing assistance to low-income families within the city of Fort Walton Beach and Okaloosa County. The FWBHA is headed by an Executive Director and is governed by a seven-person board of commissioners and is subject to the requirements of Title 24 of the Code of Federal Regulators and the FWBHA's procurement policy. Though brought into existence by a resolution of the City of Fort Walton Beach, it is a separate entity from the city.
