Closing of Public Housing Waiting List

The Fort Walton Beach Housing Authority (FWBHA) is providing public notice that the Low-Income Public Housing Program waiting list will be closed effective Monday, March 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM until further notice. Applications to the Public Housing Program will not be accepted if not submitted before the noted deadline. The Public Housing will remain closed until the FWBHA provides another public notice of its reopening.

Please note, the Housing Choice Voucher/Section 8 Program's waiting list will remain open and the community is encouraged to apply to that program.
