August 2020 Newsletter

  • Due to the increase in COVID-19 maintenance will only be responding to Emergency Work Orders
  • Annual Recertification packet is going to be mail. It is your responsibility to return all information back and fill form out on time. If you have any question, feel free to contact your PHS.
  • You can reach us by telephone, email, fax and by putting in writing through the Drop Box. Any changes must be reported within 10 days if you get a job, lost your job, if someone moves out or you want to add someone to your household, put it in writing first.
  • Filter needs to be changed every month. To pick up your monthly A/C filter you need to contact the office and let us know the size of your filter and when you are out and one will be passed to you through the door.

*Everybody needs to clean Their A/C closet.  Keep in mind if your A/C goes out or stops working because you are not doing your part and changing the filter monthly and keeping the A/C closet dust free you will be charged for the service call, repair and/or a new unit.

  • You are responsible for your guest. If they are smoking or doing anything in the property that would affect your household.
  • Playground is closed
  • Lock your car
  • Someone is stealing bike please secure them behind your unit or inside your unit.
  • We are going to get used to the new normal and we are going to start doing meeting and Inspection thru Teams (video).
  • Rent is due every month by the 1st.  All money orders and checks should be filled out prior to mailing or dropping in the rent drop box. Please make sure it is pay to the order of: FWBHA and include your address. All checks returned for insufficient funds will be charged a $35 fee to your account, and the HA will no longer be able to take personal checks from you. *Please note that FWBHA does not accept partial payments. Rent must be paid in full.
  • If you know you owe rent call the office to make sure you got the correct amount.

Upcoming Events:

  • Lawn Services: Thursday 8/13/2020 and 8/27/2020 (7:00am-4:00pm) Nothing should be outside of your unit on the grass that will be in the way of the lawn crew. (remove pools, toys, bikes, etc.)
  • Pest Control is cancelled until further notice but if you have any issues do not hesitate to call the office and place a work order.

  • Go get a free lunch at the youth center (to go) on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 12:30 p.m. and you can get one for everyone in your family. Do not be shy, she can cook good!  😊

Public Housing properties are all smoke free and all residents, guests, visitors, service personnel should honor that policy. (Tenants are still smoking in the units) No smoking, means inside of your unit, outside or in the car. You will be charged.

All residents are responsible for the upkeep and housekeeping standards of their home. (Be sure to keep front and back of your unit clean) (Kids pool: empty the water every day and put it away if you are not using the pool).

If you have any question about the Housekeeping standard refer to your lease.

Do not leave these items in your unit: Lighter fluid, propane tanks and small grills.
